Got a little captain in ya'?

Hey guys... I just want to start off by thanking everyone for there well wishes and concerned emails. It's so nice to know that my followers really truly love me. I think my friend Lisa in California just about had a heart attack when she saw the photo of me getting run over by a car. I think her exact words were...

Birch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Then Carina explained what happened to me and this was the response...and I quote verbatim...

"So you mean I just wasted an entire box of tissues (the one with the little blue dots, super cool, and im sure pricey, I've never bought them myself but I used them at someones elses house... super thick... you only need one and it doesn't even make a hole like the other cheaper ones do and don't get me started on those lotion ones... oh who invented those! horrible things, they are) for NO reason? Oh dear, I'm so glad he's ok. I really would be sad if he passed away. Let's just say that does happen... Please don't throw him into the fireplace, then he might know he's really only made of wood and his entire reason for living was truly only so his family could roast marshmallows over him. Yes, he has a better purpose that this. Like to entertain my life.

All I can say is WOW! Do you think she was hysterical?


OK... On to today's adventure.

After the "INCIDENT" I took some time off. The first day I headed to the bar with some friends. It was my way to forget everything that had just happened. So like most men, a bar and a bunch of guys was the natural decision. Time to drown away the day.

Here I am doing my best Captain Morgan impression.

Just in case you have no clue what I'm talking about. Here is the real Captain Morgan.

You'd think I had one too many, Right?!

Ha Ha... Fooled you. I'm a dry guy. No booze for me. My alcohol is hanging with my buddies. Its really a great gig. I get into clubs and bars free and don't have to pay for sodas. Nothing like a designated driver.

Jealous....?

... Of little ol' me? Well here is a long story made short.

The reason I haven't posted in a while is because I had to take a bit of a vacation. It seems that Chris (Carina's Husband) was getting jealous of the amount of time we were spending together.

On Memorial day, after everyone pulled the "Ever so FUNNY prank on me", Chris went into a rage and tried to run over me!

SO NOT COOL!

So after that little incident I decided that it might be a good idea to take a mini vacation. I popped in every once in a to prove that I was still cool with him and I think things have cooled down quite a bit. We sat down to a good talk and Chris now realizes that there is nothing going on between Carina and I.

What can I say? The guy loves his wife.

It's so good to say it again. KEEP ON ROCKIN!

Folks. I've taken the last week off for a bit of a mini vacation. I'll try to post about my week of adventures later on tonight. Thanks for all the emails and concerns, but I'm fine.

Birch Sized!

Finally, Finally, Finally... Someone thought of ol' Birchy and found him a Skate board his size!

Serious folks, do you know how hard it is to find things to fit me? Would explain why I'm still in my birthday suit.

Anyways. Today I'm off to surf the urban jungle. Not much going on around here, but I'm sure I'll have something up my sleeve for tomorrow.

Yard Sale Time

Hello All!

We're well into the prime season of yard sales in the Galveston County Area. It's not to hot yet and the rain is tapering off from the spring. Everyone is purging their old junk to make room for new junk.

I've been to quite a few yard sales in my time and the fight was surly on. Many people traveled from house to house trying to find new treasures. This day was no different. It's a finder's keepers game and feelings got hurt! I'm glad I got to this house when I did because I would have missed out on getting this awesome Chicago CD for 25¢

I also looked at this file system. I've been getting so much fan mail lately that I'm now in need of organization.

I crawled inside to check out the structural integrity, but it wasn't as sound as I had hoped.

I think the big find of the day was a pair of broken in jeans for a dollar! There's nothing like a good pair of jeans... except maybe a pair my size. Any seamstresses out there?

I had a great time looking for forgotten treasures. Now it's your turn. Till next time...

Birch Cedarton... Under arrest?

As promised... Here is the story of me getting arrested.

After the pancake breakfast I was approached by a police officer that stated that "I was under arrest."

What the heck? What did I do?

He went on telling me my charges, public intoxication, loitering, and not having proper identification.

Identification? I'm a ARTIST FIGURE! I have no pockets!

Here's where it gets bad. I should have kept my mouth shut. I yelled at the officer, but guess what I said...

"Don't YOU know who I am? I'm Birch Cedarton... I'm famous around here. "

Oh boy did that make him mad! That's when he put me against the car and told me to spread them. I was sweating syrup by that point.

Then out of the blue everyone started laughing. The joke was on me. The police officer was actually a friend of Carina's who wanted to help her prank me. Geezzzee!

They then took me for a ride to make it up to me for making me peeing my pants! Woo Hoo!

Now, the next day I can laugh at the situation. BUT GUYS... That was SO NOT COOL!

Happy Memorial Day!

What a great day. I've been gearing up for Memorial Day all week! You can say, I'm a bit of a patriotic guy.

Today was a blast because I tagged along with Carina and her family to a pancake breakfast that is held by the church every year. The day was filled with activities galore, but tradition has it that it's strated with FOOD!

Here I am showing off my favorite part of the meal. HAM. Mmmmm... It was good!

There was tones of fresh fruit and I must admit that I was stuffed when I finally cleaned my plate!

One of the many activities was jump roping. The kids had a good time but I think the parents were the real surprise. This is a shot I took of Carina jumping rope. I know, I'm no photographer but I plan to use this as black male!

I think that we forget what these holidays are really for. Many of us look at it as a day off from work and a celebration of summer. Today I want us to think about those who have sacrificed their lives for our country. We should show our service men and women that we are grateful to them and show pride in the RED WHITE AND BLUE!

There was too much today to write about in one post. So I'll have to tell you all about how I got arrested later... Don't ask.

Tutu much fun!

Today Carina was making a tutu as a gift for one of Alana's friends. Since she was in the creative spirit, and had a bit of extra tulle, Carina made me my very first piece of clothing... a Tutu!

Alana was going to a birthday party that was being thrown for her friend Bailee, and asked me if I would join her. I gladly accepted since I've never been to a party before. This also gave me a chance to show off my new tutu.

The party was great! They even had a real ballerina come and teach the kids a dance. Everyone got a chance to perform what they learned.... Even ME!

I had a blast getting to meet so many sweet little girls... Oh and one brother who shale remain nameless. :-)

Note to Carina... I'M A DUDE! We DON'T wear tutus!

Coloring with Chalk

What a beautiful day! The sun is out and the weather is mild... For once! So in anticipation of summer, Carina's daughters, Alana and Ariana, joined me outside for some chalk coloring on the front porch.

This is a hard feet when you don't have fingers. Oh... and did I mention that the chalk is half my size?

I'm glad we went out when we did, because it started to warm up quickly. Oh well. I guess that's why Texans spend their time out doors in the morning and afternoons.

Now that I have weather on my mind. I'm worried that it will be a hot one this year. I guess I'll have to learn to swim! Stay tuned for that, I'm sure it will be interesting.

My first adventure.

Hi friends. I hope all is well!

Yesterday Carina took me out on my first adventure! She wanted to catch me in "Action" for a blog called Action Shot Revolution. So we headed out to the rail road tracks

But before I can do any sweet jumps I have to stretch!

I must be out of shape because I hyper extended my leg during the warm ups... Sad!

Alright... Are you ready for this? Here we go!

I was so excited that I did it with out seriously injuring myself that I did a bit of a happy jig on the third rail! Cue Lord of the Dance theme music.

When all was said and done my first adventure was tiring. So I sat down.... Er... TRIED TO SIT DOWN.. and watch the beautiful sunset.

Hey! You try sitting down with a rod shoved up your... Oh wait... this is a family blog. Anyways, I have to go ice my knee. I think it's a bit warped!
